Artist of the Month for August 2022 - Karen Fox. Colorful, textured, light-filled canvases capture the striking beauty of Mother Nature and the character of her four-legged and feathered creatures. This exhibit features oil paintings created mostly with the use of a palette knife. Karen moved to Ocean Shores last summer from Vashon Island, Washington. She has been painting since 1997.
July 2022 - Michael Depue, Intarsia. An ancient art form that originated in Italy using various materials that are found in nature. These wood-like original mosaics have no stain or artificial coloring. The natural colors create the picture. A little carving gives the wonderful 3-D Illusion. One-of-a-kind pieces that will awe you.
