D&D Game Night
Fridays from 4:30 - 7:30 PM. May 29th & June 5th. (No D&D 6/12 or 6/19)

Want to play Dungeons and Dragons but don't have group of people to play with? The library has all the materials you'll need to play, all you need to bring is a desire to adventure! This program is open to everyone ages 10 and older. No prior experience with D&D is required, players of all experience levels are welcome!

Introduction to Square Dancing
Monday, June 1st, 7:00 - 9:00 PM

First Monday of every month.

Join us for a fun and friendly introduction to square dancing - no experience (or partner) needed! Featuring live instruction with a licensed caller who’ll have you dancing in under 30 minutes. Open to adults and teens!

Teen Zone
Monday, June 1st, 3:00 - 5:00 PM

The library becomes a teen only zone where students in grades 7-12 can have a safe space to hang out with friends. The video game “Mario Kart 8” will be played on the library projector big screen. There will be snacks provided as well.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Teen Planning Committee (TPC)
Monday, June 8th, 3:00 - 4:00 PM

Young adults in grades 7-12 are invited to attend the first meeting of the school year.

This Committee comes up with ideas for fun teen events to have at the library. They also recommend books and movies to be purchased.

Summer Reading Program All Ages
Tuesday, June 16th - Friday, August 14th

Sign up, read, get prizes, and attend exciting events for all ages.!

Teen Summer Reading Kick Off Party
Friday, June 19th, 5:00 - 6:00 PM

Teens who are going into 7-12 grade are invited to learn more about the Teen Summer Reading Program: Choose Your Own Adventure @ Your Library.

There will be games, activities, and an ice cream float bar! Choose from different sodas, vanilla ice cream, toppings, and construct your perfect ice cream float.

Virtual Reality (VR)
Saturday, June 20th, 1:00 - 4:00 PM

A whole world of immersive experiences awaits! Come experience VR, whether it’s kayaking through whitewater rapids, a walk on the beach, fishing around the world, or spelunking in deep dark caves, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Walk-ins welcome, but subject to availability.

Collection Highlights : Graphic Novels

What used to be called Comic Books have graduated into Graphic Novels and the library has an extensive collection in the Young Adult Area.

A large portion of these are ‘Manga’ a very popular graphic novel style from Japan that you read backwards! There is action, romance, and fantasy. Check it out!
